Coaches guide, support and facilitate the growth and development of individuals or teams in achieving their goals. The word “coach” originates from the Hungarian word “kocsi”: a horse-driven carriage taking people to their destination.

“I never cease to be amazed at the power of the coaching process to draw out the skills or talent that was previously hidden within an individual, and which invariably finds a way to solve a problem previously thought unsolvable.” John Russell, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson Europe Ltd.
“Coaching isn’t therapy. It’s product development, with you as the product.” Fast Company
Indeed, coaching is different from psychotherapy. I work on the present and the future. Psychotherapy involves diving into the past to address and understand emotional and psychological issues.
Nonetheless, the coaching profession is currently unregulated, so make sure you work with a qualified/certified coach.
